34053 Sir Keith Park

Our most recent restoration, Sir Keith Park entered service on the Severn Valley Railway in August 2012. It moved to Swanage Railway in January 2018. After repairs to its axle boxes at Tyseley it moved to the Spa Valley Railway at Tunbridge Wells in August 2020 and and ran there until its boiler ticket expired in Spring 2022. The loco was stripped at Herston, and it has now returned from Tyseley where it was fitted with the boiler from Sidmouth which had been overhauled at the North Norfolk Railway. The target is for it to return to service in June 2024. It's also intended to change its name for one year to 303 Squadron to mark the contribution of Polish airment to the Battle of Britain.
